Divination:
Five of Cups – Mars in the first decan of Scorpio.
Upright: It is a card of challenges, especially on the emotional level. Although they may keep everything calm and collected on the surface, bellow there are deep and turbulent waters – emotions, sometimes fuelled by disturbing sexual desires and concerns. On the one hand, they can hide easily behind a smile and keep secret their real feelings; on the other, they have the talent of seeing through the facade to what lies beneath. The ultimate goal here is to get satisfaction and pushing the boundaries of convention. Sex and mysticism, desire and faith make a quite intriguing blending here. One may choose one of the extremes or develop an alternative method of combining them into a new way of life or philosophy. These experiences and concepts might be the foundation for a new cult or spiritual movement.
Reversed: obsessive, secretive, vindictive and extreme.
