Venus in Aquarius people try to impress you with their open-minded, future-thinking spirit. They can be unconventional both in their approach to love and also to who they are drawn to. They want you to see them as unique, rebellious, and a little provocative. They want you to acknowledge and appreciate that they don’t follow the beaten track in matters of the heart.
Platonic relationships, creative relationships, group activities are great manifestations of this position of Venus. Emotional dramas, jealousy, exclusivity, are not in the make up of this sign. Friendship comes first. Falling in love with the eccentric, with the freaky, with the one that everyone else dislikes is characteristic of Venus in Aquarius.
The Venus in Aquarius individual has a love of freedom. He or she is often reluctant to make a commitment, however, expect complete loyalty once this person takes the plunge. The Venus in Aquarius person is attracted to idealists or rebels who stand out from the crowd. In love and relationship, the Aquarian energy cannot be denied its independence and prefers a counterpart who is also independent, forward-thinking and a little quirky. Intellectual stimulation is a must if you’re to snag and hold on to a Venus in Aquarius. Venus in Aquarius wants you to love them for their intellect, and to admire their visions.
Pleasing Venus in Aquarius involves letting them know just how interesting they are. Put up with their occasional need to act superior on an intellectual level — they are very proud of their unique ideas and visions. Dream along with them, and don’t fence them in. They need space and will happily return the favor, giving you lots of room to breathe and to be yourself. They like to choose their terms when involved in a relationship, and this can be challenging for a partner, as their terms can be changeable. With the exception of this quality, Venus in Aquarius people are some of the most unselfish people in love. They allow you freedom to be yourself, and are rarely clinging or controlling. Venus in Aquarius indicates a blending of the Uranian qualities, independence, impatience of restraint, disregard of convention, desire for originality, uncompromising sincerity and intuition, with those of Venus and as a result we find that people with this position refuse to be bound by the usual restrictive rules of society in their love affairs and follow their heart’s inclination regardless of what others may say or think. They are firm believers in the theory of soul-mates, affinities, et cetera, and liable to act in the most unexpected manner with such startling suddenness that neither they nor anyone else are able to foresee what they may say or do next. But at the same time they are so loving and sincere in their convictions that friends never fail them and whatever success they attain in life is usually due to the efforts of friends to help them to realize their hopes, wishes and aspirations. 11th House, House of Friendships (Friendship). Friends and acquaintances of like-minded attitudes. Groups, clubs and societies. Higher associations. Benefits and fortunes from career. One’s hopes and wishes.

Venus in the Eleventh House if well-aspected brings to the person hosts of friends who are willing and anxious to aid him in the realization of his hopes, wishes and desires, but it depends upon the nature and character of the sign wherein Venus is placed as well as on the strength of the aspects whether they will be able to do so or not. For instance, if Venus is in the Eleventh House in Aries or Scorpio, one of the martial signs where she is weak, and aspected only by sextiles from Mercury and the Moon, very little help can be expected of her compared to what she will give if she is in her own signs, Taurus or Libra, and aspected by trines from the Sun and Jupiter. In the case first cited, the friends drawn to the person may be ever so sincere in their wish to help but will not have the ability. In the latter case they will exert powerful influence and will accomplish wonders. If Venus is afflicted in the Eleventh House it is very often found that the person attracts friends who impose upon him and use him for their own objects and when they have so used him to the fullest extend and he cannot serve their purpose any longer they throw him aside. The number 8 – Venus, Reactive/ Mental (Air)
Positive traits:
– Diplomatic, graceful, peaceful, love all that is beautiful, good managing skills, idealistic, devotion, affectionate, realization, fulfillment, investments, protective.
Negative traits:
– Unbalanced, obsessive, superficial, indecisive, unreliable, fixations, negligent, self-pity.

Crowley: Futility. Netzach, in the suit of Swords, does not represent such catas trophe as in the other suits, for Netzach, the Sephira of Venus, means victory. There is, therefore, a modifying influence; and this is accentuated by the celestial rule of the Moon in Aquarius.
The intellectual wreckage of the card is thus not so vehement as in the Five. There is vacillation, a wish to compromise, a certain toleration. But, in certain circumstances, the results may be more disastrous than ever. This naturally depends upon the success of the policy. This is always in doubt as long as there exist violent, uncompromising forces which take it as a natural prey.
This card, like the Four, suggests the policy of appeasement. The symbol shows six Swords with their hilts in crescent formation. Their points meet below the centre of the card, imping upon a blade of a much larger up-thrusting sword, as if there were a contest between the many feeble and the one strong. He strives in vain.

Waite: A man in the act of carrying away five swords rapidly; the two others of the card remain stuck in the ground. A camp is close at hand.
Design, attempt, wish, hope, confidence; also quarrelling, a plan that may fail, annoyance. The design is uncertain in its import, because the significations are widely at variance with each other.
Reversed: Good advice, counsel, instruction, slander, babbling.

Fortune Telling with Playing Cards:
4 of Spades – Small worries, problems. Financial difficulties, personal lows.
