The Law of Seven and the Enneagram

The Law of Seven (or the Law of Octaves) is said to be the basis for the seven notes musical octave. The idea is that in nature, and in the universe at large, nothing continues forever in a direct line. Everything must deviate at definite intervals. If you take the standard seven note octave, plus the first note to a new octave, you get eight notes: Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Si, and Do. What the law of seven says is that within these eight notes there are two definite intervals, one between mi and fa, and one between Si and the new Do. The intervals are called the Mi/Fa interval and the Si/Do interval. Read more…

Alejandro Jodorowsky - The Way of Tarot - 2009I heard lot of good things about Alejandro Jodorowsky’s book on Tarot, then I read a couple of positive comments on different Tarot forums and specific social media groups. Finally, I stumbled into a quite exciting book synopsis which determined to read the book.
I have to admit, I had quite high expectations and somewhat I was pretty disappointed. I will explain.
But for the beginning, who is Alejandro Jodorowsky?
Born to Jewish-Ukrainian and Polish parents in Chile, Alejandro Jodorowsky Prullansky (17 February 1929) is a Chilean-French film and theatre director, screenwriter, playwright, actor, author, poet, producer, composer, musician, comics writer, and spiritual guru, currently living in Paris (France). The numbering of the small cards and their associations

Most of the Tarot readers relays on Numerological calculations, during their readings they add up the numbers of the cards and based on this calculations, draw conclusions, make predictions or give advices.
My concern is that practitioners do not really know and understand the theoretical aspects of the esoteric sciences and how these are all connected and based on a common, unitary system. Read more…
