How and from where did you learn Tarot, get your informations? Hopefully not from Doreen Virtue!!! (LOL – Joking!)
This is pretty much the basic, the core of the system. The Golden Dawn system – which is at the foundation of both Waite and Crowley’s deck.
The astrological assignment was first revealed by Papus (Gérard Encausse) in his book “The Tarot of the Bohemians” in 1909 and it was further developed by Aleister Crowley in his “The Book of Thoth” published in 1944.
Other authors may propose other astrological assignments, but far as I know, they can’t give a reasonable explanation and don’t have a clear system.
The Numerals was well attributed, but I think the rest of the cards were misinterpreted.
