Some people believe in evolution, others in creation. What if I tell you both are bullshit?

Till 1958, for roughly 2000 years, the dominant theory was based on the Bible’s Genesis creation narrative with no notable alternatives at our disposal.
Things changed, and the world changed in 1848 with the publishing of the pamphlet The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels.
Das Kapital, translated as Capital: A Critique of Political Economy and published in three volumes in 1867, 1885, and 1894, is a foundational theoretical text in materialist philosophy and critique of political economy.
Marxism was critical regarding capitalism and economic issues and virulently aggressive toward religion. However, what Marxism desperately needed was a plausible alternative theory replacing creation.
Charles Darwin and The Origin of Species eventually came up with a solution.
“Let there be light” has been replaced by “Big Bang” and the kabbalistic Tree of Life, with the evolutionary tree showcasing the transmutation of the species. At this point, one would believe that everybody was happy. Humanity finally had an alternative point of view and a choice. Not quite.
Although I religiously went to the Catholic Sunday school and learned about the Bible, somehow, I never bought their fairy tales. A powerful, weird guy with a beard, pretty bloody and revengeful, was not my thing. Eventually, my religious beliefs are summarized in one chorus: “G_d is dead, and no one cares. If there is a hell, I’ll see you there”.
On the other hand, I remember, in school, when I learned about the evolution theory, I told myself that if it is taught in school, it has been thoroughly verified and proved beyond reasonable doubt. F_ck no!
Fast forward to our days, I’m reading two books.
One is called The Chaos of Origins, written by Anton Parks, and the other is Everything You Know Is Still Wrong by Lloyd Pye. The first is demolishing the Bible’s creation myth, while the second debunks the evolution theory step by step with arguments.
I was aware of the Sumerian origins of many of the biblical myths. I knew about the falsifications, edits and left-outs. I also had my doubts regarding the Big Bang and the evolution theory, but I never thought it was that bad.
You should read these books and draw your own conclusions.
What really troubles me is the level of deceit we are exposed to and the ease with which we let ourselves be fooled. Constantly. Often willingly – by our own desire.
