Quite many Tarot readers ignore reversed cards and only read upright meanings.
Imagine these cards were all upright and how a totally different interpretation would have emerged: sensuality, trickery and accumulation.
Yet, do you prefer to live in a comfortable lie, or do you want to solve the issues and enjoy the progress made on your own?
Quite many people prefer the “evil they (allegedly) know” rather than being confronted with a reality they are unfamiliar with. Some may call it “accepting our fate”. I call it living the mechanical life.
Mechanical life is going counter-clockwise from the Two of Wands to the Ten of Cups around the Zodiac.
Conscious life requires going in the opposite direction and swimming against the current.
Something similar happens with the reversed card in the Tarot.
It is going against the current and the odds.
When it is a conscious choice and has a well-defined purpose, it’s worth all the effort.
However, when the reversed cards are only the result of circumstances and bad choices, they require a different approach.
Secrets have created mental restrictions that will further cause more frustration.
Each of these cards requires work.
How can the reverted cards be reverted?
I developed and tested an innovative method.
The reversed Two of Cups can be counteracted by the Two of Wands. Translated, secrets can be eliminated by making better choices.
The reversed Seven of Swords can be counteracted by the Seven of Wands. Instead of being closed-minded and refusing open discussions, you should accept challenges.
The reversed Ten of Swords can be counteracted by the Ten of Wands. The frustrations embodied by the reversed Ten of Swords are the result of static energies. The situation can be defused through spontaneous actions.
