There is something I noticed, and I cannot pass over it.
Yesterday I pulled two Cups and a Wand; today I pulled different cards, but with the same composition.
It seems that you are caught in an emotional loop and can’t get out of it. While the cards have changed, the overall feeling is pretty much the same: an emotional rollercoaster.
Sometimes, formulating the right questions can lead you to the answers that get you out of the situation.
– At this point and in these circumstances, is your sensitivity a quality or a disadvantage?
It’s a critical question as there is a conflict between the reversed Six of Cups and the Two of Cups. Cruelty and sensitivity are contradicting emotions. Looking back to yesterday, it seems a reminiscence of the mixed emotions expressed through the reversed Five of Cups. Thus, the cards may not describe a sequence of events, but a general feeling.
Beyond learning the individual meaning of the cards, the art of interpretation is also a matter of inspiration. I especially used the word “inspiration” rather than “intuition” because I consider inspiration to relate to a higher consciousness, while intuition relates to the gut feeling.
How can these conflicting sentiments be reconciled?
The possible answer lies in the card representing the future: the Four of Wands.
The Four of Wands signifies passion and new beginnings. It’s a card of strength, attitude, and self-confidence, indicating that everything is possible.
It can be a valuable lesson: it doesn’t matter what is possible; the only thing that matters is what you believe is possible.
