The Sun card is all about love, but why is that? The meaning of each card is defined by its astrological attribution. In my opinion, the Sun card represents Sun in Pisces. Therefore, it signifies pure, unconditional love.
In several depictions of the card, there is a wall in the background, including Pamela’s drawing. That ‘wall’ is the great pyramid of Giza with the sphere on its apparently missing top symbolising the Eye of Horus replaced by the Sun.
Inevitably, this card brings back to my ears the memories of an old song whose lyrics go like this: ‘A cheap holiday in other people’s misery… I don’t wanna holiday in the sun, I wanna go…’ Do you know? The Berlin Wall!
