Day sixteen: Ten of Cups.
Traditionally, Ten of Cups is considered a card representing joy and fulfilment – to some extent, marriage. And there is a good reason for this while the cards represent Pluto in Pisces.
Pluto is the planet representing the female emotional aspects and is associated the unconscious, with sex, orgasm (Death – from French ‘La petite mort’ which is translated into ‘the little death’), and transformation.
The little death is an expression which means “the brief loss or weakening of consciousness” and refers to “the sensation of orgasm as likened to death.”
