Proponents argue that electric currents flow through space in large-scale circuits, influencing the structure and behaviour of celestial bodies.
The theory disputes the idea that nuclear fusion is the primary energy source of the sun and stars. Instead, it posits that stars are powered externally by electric currents from the surrounding plasma, resembling electrodes glowing in a cosmic electrical circuit.
Electric Universe theorists contend that galaxies are formed and sustained primarily by electromagnetic forces rather than by gravity and dark matter.
Mainstream science does not accept the Electric Universe Theory as a valid branch of astrophysics.
