This new deck by Pietro Alligo, with art by Antonella Platano, sets forth the notion that each of the 78 cards of the Tarot deck may be viewed as a portal or passageway. My first impressions of this deck were overall positive. The cards have a good feel, with a nice matte finish. At 4-3/4” x 1-5/8” they are a manageable size for small hands.
The cardstock is quite thin and shuffles easily right out of the box. The back of the cards shows a doubled image of a golden gate with a golden key and stars on a medium blue background. The backs would not reveal reversals on facedown cards.
