Card of the day: Ten of Cups
Time: 6 AM to 6:40 AM
“Happiness cannot be travelled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude.”
Denis Waitley
– What should you focus on today?
– What makes you happy, and how can you preserve happiness?
Happiness is irrational and immaterial. You can explain happiness, and it has no rhyme or reason. It happens. It is an emotion, and emotions are energies.
The Tens of the Tarot summarises the Suit’s previous Numerals (Pips). Therefore, the sum of the cards from the Ace up to the Nine is expressed through the Ten. What was only a spark of possibility within the Ace becomes a fully developed reality embodied in the Ten.
What makes you happy?
Hopes, sensitivity, devotion, nursing, adoration, pleasure, awareness, ecstasy and self-remembering are the ingredients of happiness. However, nobody has a secret recipe, and we all have to find the one that suits our needs.
The other interesting aspect of the Ten of Cups is that it doesn’t represent an individual but a collective or shared experience. Happiness is more meaningful when it involves more people and is shared and mutual. It makes happiness extraordinary.
More challenging than reaching happiness is preserving it.
One of the issues modern man encounters regarding happiness is that we have been cultivated to want more than we need and desire things that supposedly would make us happy, but factually, they don’t. We chase unattainable happiness, trying to intensify the joy to impossible levels. The more we want, the further we get from the genuine happiness.
Humans are pretty sensitive, and the slightest change of circumstances can cause imbalance and loss of happiness. Especially when our own happiness depends on other people, we become quite vulnerable.
What are the roots of our happiness?
Fear, secrets, discomfort, manipulation, insecurity (mixed emotions), cruelty, turbulences (disharmony), jealousy (distrust) and delusion are often the main causes of being unhappy.
The Ten of Cups reminds you of what matters and makes you happy regardless of external circumstances.
What brought you here is discipline – the Three of Disks.
What may cause the loss of the current harmony is acting erratically and wanting more than you can handle.
