The reversed Priestess suggests a biased and conservative point of view. It is an indication that you are in denial and refusal.
The reversed Ace of Swords had a similar meaning in the previous reading. However, the Ace of Swords refers to a mental blockage, while the Priestess is more effective, as it is both material and practical. Being one of the twelve most powerful cards of the deck, that is a serious issue, and most likely, a setback.
The reversed Priestess expresses the most determined resistance to change. Although the cards channel mutable energies, the reversed position is retrograde and rigid. The reversed Pristess is unwilling to negotiate and make compromises. Occasionally, holding firm positions is a sign of strength, perseverance and consistency.
However, it is often a warning sign that you are refusing progress and you are attached to a past situation that is no longer sustainable.
We can better understand the current situation by examining the rest of the cards.
The reversed Two of Disks indicates regression and material losses. It is something factual and physical.
The reversed Ten of Cups signifies deception – it is the effect and emotional impact of the reversed Two of Disks.
