St. Augustine of Hippo noted that “numbers are the Universal language offered by the deity to humans as confirmation of the truth.”
Mathematics is considered the language of G_d(s) and, therefore, the language of creation. According to the Jewish mystical tradition known as Kabbalah, Hebrew is the language of G_d – at least of Yahve, the G_d of the Old Testament.
The twenty-two letters of the Hebrew alphabet were considered sacred, as they were believed to have been endowed with G_d’s attributes. However, more likely, if there is such a sacred language, it would probably be the Sumerian. The first spoken language began around 100,000 years ago, while the first written language only developed about 5000 years ago.
When at the beginning of the times, presumably, G_d said: “Let there be light,” respectively, “Yehi ohr” (YodHeYod AlephVavResh), that sound, its energy and vibration, those letters and words meant more than a simple phrase, they were a Magick formula. The light materialised in actual physical form when G_d pronounced the formula. Yet, we still tend to interpret these things as purely allegorical or metaphorical events and not deal with them appropriately.
Although scholars such as Chaim Bentorah claim that G_d words were not a command but more a desire, perhaps ‘wishful thinking,’ that possibility is utterly cancelled by the complete biblical quote: “And God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.” (Genesis 1:3).
We have been told that everything material is corrupt, so the practical aspects have been concealed. Our knowledge is mainly theoretical and virtual, but it lacks finality – and it has become that way because it was intentionally crippled. Some formulas have been altered, while others have lost their original meaning and become ineffective.
To understand these formulas, one should take into consideration not only the letters and their value and charge but also analyse their sound and frequencies. It matters not only what G_d said but also how it was told. The letter Aleph, at least how the ancient people of the Middle East perceived it, means ‘ox’, but in the mouth of G_d, it had a different significance and was a command.
By adding up those twenty-two letters, G_d created everything in the universe. When G_d was spoken, it was mathematics, and it was chemistry, it was Numerology and Alchemy, and altogether it was High Magick.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with G_d, and the Word was G_d.” However, that language’s divine content and creative – Magick – function is not transferable or transmissible and, therefore, is lost. Spelt out more bluntly, our words today are G_dless.
On the other hand, mathematics is also a universal language commonly shared by all humans, allowing different people from all over the world to communicate.
One plus two makes three is an arithmetic process, and Algebra deals with this type of equation. Numerology deals not with the quantity but with the quality of the additions. While Algebra deals with the matters of the physical world, Numerology deals with those of the spiritual world. One is the world of visible and tangible things, and the other deals with the subtle matters of the unseen and the intimate relationships that run underneath the appearance of the physical world. Mixing these two aspects and applying material methods to the spiritual world may not reveal the expected results.
