Before beginning to speak about August, I would like to return to July and talk about trading and retrograde Pluto in Capricorn.
In the past six months, many of my new Patreon supporters have been traders or people interested in mixing trading with esoteric matters.
Some of them complained that they had suffered losses in July, and I am truly sorry about that.
Once again, I’m not involved in trading, and my market knowledge is, at best, pretty limited.
I designed the Wheel charts to assist with working alongside individuals. Recently, I have made adjustments to utilize them for trading purposes. These charts are available in yearly, monthly, and daily formats. And these formats are interconnected, and it is like a zooming-in process. On the yearly chart, you may notice some interesting moments in particular months, while on the monthly charts, you may identify specific days, and in the daily charts, these moments come down to hours and minutes.
However, I recommended cautiousness and patience. Observe these phenomena, and compare the charts with past and present market events.
I would recommend virtual trading for at least one year. Instead of losing real money, operate only on paper for a fixed time, see how it works, which decisions and investments or moves worked out and which didn’t, and learn from your own success and mistakes.
Trading and occultism seem quite similar. They both require patience, training and a particular learning curve. Some people are cut for this, and others are not. There are no shortcuts or cutting corners. And there is no magic bullet. It is all blood, sweat, and tears. Sometimes of sorrow, other times of joy.
Trading, like Magick, requires control and especially self-control. Desperate people are more exposed to make mistakes and fail. It is just the nature of things and how this universe works.
What did I say in the July report?
“A pretty tense period will begin around 22-23 July, when the Sun enters Leo and form an opposition with Pluto in Capricorn, squaring the Moon Node, as Mercury squares Uranus, and Venus begins its retrograde motion, which last until September 4.
If there is a chance to put everything to rest and take a break, that would be fantastic. Things could be pretty hectic and irrational for a while.”
I don’t want to be the guy that says I told you so, but I told you so.
Pluto retrogrades will oscillate back and forth over the edge of Aquarius and Capricorn before finally leaving Capricorn behind in late 2024.
What does it mean?
This motion will create social and financial earthquakes. The Tarot card for Pluto is the Tower. Think about that.
Economically, it means possible losses, especially with risky moves and investments, and some of these losses may have a karmic origin.
Capricorn is represented by the Demiurge (the Hierophant or the High Priest). It means that your faith will be seriously affected and damaged.
And while it is always handy to blame other people or unfortunate circumstances for our failures, I suggest thinking about what you could have done better. Remember, it is a matter of learning and control. Don’t expect miracles, and no one will do the heavy lifting instead of you and save you, so you have to be in control of your life.
Astrology, Kabbalah, Alchemy, and Tarot cards are only tools. It is up to you to learn these instruments and use them to your benefit.
As for the Tarot, the same card may have different significance for each of you. Think of a statue observed from various points of view. The cards are living beings channelling energies of a constantly moving and changing universe. They speak a universal language, but also they talk to you individually.
I used to say to my son that if ninety-nine people just jumped off the bridge in front of you, it doesn’t mean that jumping off the bridge is your only option. In trading, just like in Magick, I believe it is important to think for yourself and make your own decisions. From the same circumstances, different people may come out in various ways. Trading is a tough business; ninety-nine people will lose, and only one will thrive.
