KS Nine of Cups

Karpathy-Smith Tarot Nine of Cups
The original meaning attributed to the card by Etteilla is victory, success, achievement, advantage, gain. Mathers preserved this interpretation, while Waite added concord, contentment and physical well-being. Crowley called it ‘Happiness’, as the manifestation of Jupiter in Pisces and signifying the joy of a good life.
In my interpretation, the card signifies emotional awareness, a conscious attachment to the day-to-day life’s simple pleasures.

The Karpathy-Smith deck is a limited, 780 copies only, refreshing Tarot decks, a reimagining of the original Rider-Waite deck using mixed media techniques.
