Introduction to the Karpathy Dream cards

The following fragment is the introduction to my upcoming book about dream interpretation and Cartomancy, the guidebook to my Dream Cards. Enjoy!

Introduction to Dream Cards

“Sometimes, the dreams that come true are the dreams you never even knew you had.”
Alice Sebold

Divination and fortune-telling, foreseeing the future, is perhaps one of the oldest concerns of human beings. Therefore, not surprisingly, humans proved to be highly creative in finding and inventing numerous methods of predicting the future.
The purpose of fortune-telling is Read more Introduction to the Karpathy Dream cards

“Woman was created as much superior to man as the name she has received is superior to his. For Adam means earth, but Eve is translated as life. And as far as life Read more Eve is life

The world in my eyes

I can’t decide which is more dangerous these days. To speak up or keep quiet?

I heard these days what the interests of the Russians, NATO, the Americans and the European Union are, but nobody really seems to care about what the Ukrainian people want. Ukraine is David torn apart between several Goliaths.
Unfortunately, nobody cares about the Ukrainian people. And generally speaking, nobody cares Read more The world in my eyes

Sleeping

As I said, currently, I am working on a book about dream interpretation and Cartomancy. Yesterday I finished a sub-chapter about the importance of sleep. I hope you will find it helpful!

Scientist and professor Matthew Walker stated that insufficient and troubled sleep are key lifestyle factors determining one’s health and well-being. Regularly sleeping less than six or seven hours a night demolishes our immune system Read more Sleeping

The knowledge of now

The knowledge of now should always be superior to the knowledge of then – as long as the individual and the humanity in its whole evolve and have been not willingly hijacked on the path of regress.

The Sidewayz Tarot by Roxi Sim-Hermsen and Jade Storm

The Sidewayz Tarot by Roxi Sim-Hermsen and Jade Storm

Each Tarot deck has its own body, soul and spirit. While one may choose to purchase a particular deck instinctively, love at first sight, it takes time and patience to learn a deck and get into its groove.
The body of a deck is represented by its aesthetic content, its particular artwork and design. The “eyecatcher”, as the professionals call it. Once a deck appeals to our taste and standards, an emotional connection is established, and that’s how we get in touch with the soul of the deck.
The third step is the most challenging. Discovering the spirit of a deck requires dedication and conscious effort. It is about learning and understanding how each deck works and how we can make the most out of it. While most modern decks are knowingly or by simple mechanical copying are based on the traditional Golden Dawn system, some choosing the Waite-Smith, others the Crowley-Harris pattern, there are also notable exceptions.
