“Men go abroad to wonder at the heights of mountains, at the huge waves of the sea, at the long courses of the rivers, at the vast compass of the ocean, at the circular motions of the stars, and they pass by themselves without wondering.” Saint Augustine, Augustine of Hippo, also known as Saint Augustine, was a Roman African, Manichaean, early Christian theologian, doctor of the Church, and Neoplatonic philosopher from Numidia. Button Soup Tarot

Button Soup Tarot – a collaboration deck, produced by Cult of Tarot forum.

Putting together a collaborative Tarot deck with thirty-nine artists is not an easy task. Joan Marie just managed fine to keep it all together and brought the ship to the destination.
Some may find these collaborative decks too eclectic – and in some cases they probably are. However, if one will consider that each Tarot card hard has its own spirit and represents a singular, specific aspect, a multi-artist collaborative deck makes perfect sense. Practical Tarot Shadow work explained

Tarot shadow work

Tarot shadow work
The idea of ‘shadow’ originates in the work of Swiss psychiatrist Carl Gustav Jung. Reading with the Magic Tarot by Frederic Lionel
Frédéric Lionel was born on 17 July 1908, in Amphion les Bains, France. “The Magic Tarot: Vehicle of Eternal Wisdom” was published initially in Franch by Editions du Rocher in 1980. The English translation I own was published in 1982 by Routledge & Kegan Paul Ltd. The book was accompanied by an exclusive, Major Arcana only deck designed by Lionel. The Magic Tarot is one of the very few specially designed, esoteric – divinatory if you prefer – Tarot decks. While the traditional Western esoteric system, primarily represented by the Golden Dawn, is Kabbalah based and only by subordination connected to Astrology and Numerology, Lionel’s work focuses on Alchemy and aspects of self-development and enlightenment.
