“…the Alphabet of Thoth can be dimly traced in the modern Tarot which can be had at almost every bookseller in Paris. As for it being understood or utilized, the many fortune-tellers in Paris, who make a professional living by it, are sad specimens of failures of attempts at reading, let alone correctly interpreting the symbolism of the Tarot without a preliminary philosophical study of the Science.” – Helena Petrovna Blavatsky

The Way of Tarot by Alejandro Jodorowsky, book review

Alejandro Jodorowsky - The Way of Tarot - 2009I heard lot of good things about Alejandro Jodorowsky’s book on Tarot, then I read a couple of positive comments on different Tarot forums and specific social media groups. Finally, I stumbled across a quite interesting book synopsis which determined to read the book.
I have to admit, I had quite high expectations, and somewhat I was pretty disappointed. I will explain.
For the beginning, let’s see who Alejandro Jodorowsky is?

Jacob’s Ladder or the Mystical Stairway to Heaven

Regarding the ‘Jacob’s Ladder’, the original Hebrew expression is Sulam Yaakov where ‘sullam’ means ‘ladder’. In this particular context ‘sullam’ most probably represents a connection, a bridge between Earth and Heaven. Although the ‘Jacob’s Ladder’ is a widely used term of reference, in some translations of the Bible instead of the ‘ladder’ we may find ‘stairway’ or ‘highway’. The King James Bible, English Standard Version, JPS Tanakh 1917, English Revised Version, Darby Bible Translation, American Standard Version uses the term ‘ladder”, while the New International Version, New Living Translation, Holman Christian Standard Bible, World English Bible, uses the term ‘stairway’. The ‘highway’ form is only used in the International Standard Version and in the NET Bible edition. Read more Jacob’s Ladder

American election H. Clinton vs. D. Trump tarotator.com 2016

The American presidential election it’s not only about America, but it will influence the whole world both politically and economically in the following years.
This Tarot reading it’s about the two options and how Americana – and the world – will look under the leading of Hillary Clinton, respectively of Donald Trump.
Humans tend to choose with them hears, not their minds.
We are always very emotionally involved and unable to think straight.
Emotionally probably I would vote for Hillary. Mentally I’m still trying to figure out how America came to this point where they have to choose between these two… Read more American election: H. Clinton vs. D. Trump

The trap of “living in the now”

Living in the now

Living in the now “What does it mean to live fully in the present moment? It means that your awareness is completely centered on the here and now. You are not worrying about the future or thinking about the past. When you live in the present, you are living where life is happening. The past and future are illusions, they don’t exist.”
This is a theory, an approach to solve some personal issues such as anxiety, recommended by several modern day gurus.
“Living in the now”, unfortunately, it’s not a solution, but a trap.
Re-living the same day everyday it’s the best way to avoid reality and annihilate you’re own future. Read more The trap of “living in the now”

How to ask a Tarot question

How to Ask a Tarot question

“A wise man’s question contains half the answer.” These words of wisdom are attributed to Solomon Ibn Gabirol ben Judah, an 11th-century Andalusian poet and Jewish philosopher, and he nailed the “question of the right question”.

Generally, people are expecting to hear from a Tarot reader precisely what they have in their minds. For instance, if a wife suspects that her husband is cheating on her, she expects to hear that from the Tarot reader. Any other answer – interpretation – would mean that the Tarot reader is wrong.
Unfortunately, precisely this kind of human weaknesses is exploited by the frauds.
